Your situation stays with you.
Who operates KAI Methods?
KAI Methods is operated by a Denmark-based individual who is the data controller: Cosmin Enulescu. Privacy contact: hello@kaimethods.com. Operator establishment and registration details are on our Legal Information page.
Your assessment answers
Selected answers and results are processed only in this browser tab’s memory. KAI does not receive or save them. They are not included in feedback, URLs, page requests or external resource links. Refreshing or closing the page clears the tool. We do not request names, personal stories or message text. Decisions are calculated in your browser without an AI service.
Optional usefulness feedback
You can send Yes, Somewhat or No, with an optional predefined reason for Somewhat or No. The request contains only the tool identifier/version, initial or deeper stage, rating and optional reason. Submission is voluntary; no free text or account is available. The server combines submissions into daily counts, not individual feedback records. It does not save your answers, result, IP address or a visitor identifier in the feedback database. Counts are kept for 90 UTC calendar days, then deleted by daily cleanup; active submissions also remove expired counts. Local preview counts stay on this computer. Public counts are stored in Cloudflare D1.
Requests and abuse prevention
Your browser must send network information to load a website or submit feedback or an optional measurement event, including its IP address. Feedback requests are therefore not anonymous at the network layer, even though stored counts do not identify a visitor. The receiver uses a minute-changing hash derived from the connection IP for short-lived security rate limits, separate from the counts. It does not use this to follow visitors across tools or visits. KAI’s application creates no access log or request-body log. Cloudflare processes connection information, requested URLs, request metadata and security/service data when serving the public website. Assessment answers are never sent in these requests. Worker observability, request-body logging, Logpush and Cloudflare Web Analytics are not enabled by KAI. Optional aggregate measurement described below is separate. Disabling application logs does not disable Cloudflare’s own network/security processing.
Purpose and legal basis
The purpose of grouped feedback is to improve clarity and usefulness. Counts that no longer relate to an identifiable person are used only as statistics. Necessary request metadata and temporary security counters are processed under GDPR Article 6(1)(f): the operator’s legitimate interests in delivering a working service, preventing abuse and receiving voluntarily submitted minimal feedback. The documented balance considers data minimisation, short-lived security counters, voluntary feedback and the absence of profiling. No feedback is required to use a tool, and no marketing profile is created. Choosing to submit feedback is not presented as consent to tracking.
Cloudflare hosting, recipients and retention
The public host is Cloudflare Workers Static Assets and a Cloudflare D1 feedback database created with EU jurisdiction. Cloudflare, Inc. and its subprocessors provide delivery, security and database services under its Self-Serve Agreement and incorporated Data Processing Addendum. The database residency restriction does not make worldwide request handling, security data or support EU-only. Cloudflare acts as processor for customer content/logs covered by its Data Processing Addendum. Its own service, network and security uses are described in its privacy policy. International processing can include the United States and other countries; the DPA provides the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable and Standard Contractual Clauses for restricted transfers. Copies and current safeguards are available through those links or our contact email. Only the operator accesses aggregate totals; no public database or statistics endpoint is provided.
Active feedback and measurement counts expire after 90 UTC calendar days. D1 Free point-in-time recovery retains up to 7 days of history, so deletion from the active database does not instantly erase recovery copies. Restoring a backup requires deleting expired counts again before using it. Cloudflare’s currently documented Free security-event/traffic datasets retain up to 31 days; these are provider request/security data, separate from aggregate counts. Optional Workers Logs would retain 3 days on Free, but they are disabled in this deployment. These product windows do not establish a single limit for all Cloudflare-held data: Cloudflare applies purpose, necessity and legal-obligation retention criteria to its own service/network data. No ongoing downloaded request-log archive is maintained by KAI.
Optional usage measurement
Measurement is off until you voluntarily open “Measurement settings” in the footer and choose “Allow measurement”. There is no entry prompt. Leaving settings closed or choosing “Disable measurement” keeps it off. Tools, complete results and usefulness feedback work either way. When allowed, we send only predefined page, tool and event identifiers, a guide/resource identifier for link clicks, and the consent notice version. We count page views, assessment starts (first submitted answer), first displays of initial results, starts and first displays of optional deeper results, and explicit guide clicks. No answers, recommendations, result identifiers, personal URL parameters, referrers, device attributes or visitor identifiers are included. Events are combined immediately into daily counts in the existing Cloudflare D1 database; individual event records are not kept. Counts measure future events from consenting tabs, not unique visitors or all website use. Existing Cloudflare network/server traffic statistics cover ordinary website requests, which can include assets, API requests and bots. These provider statistics are separate from consented assessment events and cannot show assessment completions or a complete conversion funnel. Cloudflare Web Analytics, its JavaScript beacon and automatic script injection remain disabled.
Consent under GDPR Article 6(1)(a) covers optional measurement and its necessary network delivery. Consent is also sought for this non-essential measurement under Danish rules on accessing information on devices, even though no tracking cookie is used. Change your choice at any time using “Measurement settings” in the footer. Withdrawal stops future events and attempts to cancel pending requests. Already committed anonymous totals cannot be tied to you or individually removed. Earlier actions are never queued or replayed after you allow measurement. Active counts are retained for 90 UTC calendar days, with the same daily cleanup and recovery-copy limits as feedback.
Cookies and device storage
This application uses no tracking cookies, persistent visitor storage, fingerprinting or advertising. Its own optional measurement script follows the choice above. The only application device-storage value is a necessary tab-scoped sessionStorage preference containing allow/deny and the notice version; it contains no identifier or answers. It remembers your choice when moving between pages in this tab. Closing the tab normally clears it; browser session restoration may restore tab state. Reopen Measurement settings to check or change it. If preference storage is unavailable, measurement stays off. No cross-tab or returning-visitor recognition is used. Cloudflare protection may use necessary security cookies, for example to remember a passed challenge. The initial public-host checks found no cookies or third-party scripts. Security challenges may still set necessary cookies on other visits; hosting changes will be reviewed for unexpected tracking. Additional measurement would require a fresh privacy review and appropriate consent. The browser may cache ordinary site files; assessment answers are not written into that cache.
If you email us
Messages to hello@kaimethods.com pass through Cloudflare Email Routing and are forwarded to the operator’s mailbox provided by Microsoft Outlook.com. This is separate from the feedback database. We use your address, message and necessary correspondence metadata to answer your enquiry or handle privacy rights, under legitimate interests and applicable legal obligations. Routine enquiries are deleted within 6 months after resolution; necessary evidence of a legal dispute or rights request is retained only as long as required to handle it or applicable obligations. Cloudflare retains delivery/authentication metadata; its routing activity log offers a 30-day view, which is not a promise that all provider copies expire then. Microsoft handles mailbox delivery, storage, security, recovery and international processing under its privacy statement. Removing a message from the active mailbox may leave temporary recovery copies. Please do not email private dating stories, message screenshots or sensitive details.
Your rights and contact
Where personal data is processed, you can request access, correction or deletion, restriction, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and request portability where it applies. Contact the operator using the email above. You may complain to Datatilsynet, the Danish Data Protection Agency. We cannot find or remove your particular vote or measurement event from an aggregate count because no visitor identifier or individual vote is kept. Do not send sensitive dating details with a privacy request; we will request only what is necessary to handle it.
